Thursday, March 8

Please join the Women in Architecture Forum (WIAF) Thursday, March 8th at 6pm for our March event, “10/10 – 10 Words, 10 Images.”

10/10 is a lively Pecha Kucha style event where participants present 10 images and speak for 10 seconds for each- (like Pinterest, but live).

“10 Words 10 Images” is a short-format presentation with YOU as the presenter- an easy and fun way to showcase your talents, passion, recent work and whatever else you’d like to share. It’s also a great way to sharpen your presentation skills and introduce yourself to colleagues and peers here in the East Bay.

How does it work?

1) Choose 10 images and 10 descriptive words or phrases, and create 10 slides in a Powerpoint presentation with a word or image on each slide.

2) Bring the Powerpoint presentation (or 20 separate .jpg or .tif files) on a flash drive or disc, and you’ll have 10 seconds per slide to describe your images (or let them speak for themselves).

3) Mac users please note! The presentations will be run from a PC laptop, so please bring your images on a disc or email them in advance to events@aiaeb.org. The AIA East Bay chapter office does not have apple video adapters available for use with the projector.

RSVP and/or Questions:

Email events@aiaeb.org.

Free and open to all!
