**Please note this program is in Pleasanton.**
The program will provide an overview of LED developments as they apply to lighting design.
LEDs are truly disruptive technology. They are having an increasing influence on the incumbent lighting technologies and have advanced considerably over the last 2-3 years.
This program examines recent progress with LEDs as they relate to the development of lighting fixtures and their application to lighting design. LEDs are fundamentally a point source and, as such, will not work for all lighting applications. We will explore the best uses for LEDs and what the future might hold.
Presented by Randy Borden, Allied Member, a registered architect who has been involved in the lighting industry for over 25 years.
