Peter Wolfe presents how C3 storm water management requirements have a significant impact on site design, land utilization, and development costs for urban, suburban, and rural projects. This presentation will focus on attendees gaining basic knowledge of the background of C3 storm water requirements, the regulatory compliance process, when and when not C3 is applicable, and an introduction to several low impact storm water design techniques. This seminar is appropriate for designers, project managers, and principals wanting to gain a basic understanding of C3 storm water management and its applicability to their projects.

About the presenter: Peter Wolfe is a licensed California landscape architect and Allied East Bay Chapter member with over 25 years of experience. His firm, Peter Wolfe Landscape Architecture, provides site design and planning services throughout the Bay Area. He is a Bay Friendly Qualified Designer, Advisor, and Rater.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Gain a basic knowledge of C3 storm water management regulations and requirements.
  2. Know, through thresholds and exclusions, if C3 applies to your project.
  3. Understand the general C3 compliance process and submittal requirements.
  4. Gain an understanding of low impact approaches to stormwater management, (biorentention, flow through planters, pervious pavements,, tree box type flow through filters, etc) and where they are appropriate and where not.
