2013 Jury: Robert Harris, FAIA (Lake Flato Architects); Marsha Maytum, FAIA (Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects); Mark Jensen, AIA (Jensen Architects)

HEINSER-04Marsha Maytum, FAIA, Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects, has focused her career on community, cultural, and socially-conscious projects that promote sustainable design. Her education in the 1970s at the University of Oregon and Royal Academy in Denmark was founded upon responsible environmental design. Her work has included the creation of new buildings, rehabilitation of historic buildings, and adaptive reuse of existing structures.

rharris_fnBob Harris, FAIA, LEED Fellow, Lake Flato Architects has established expertise in combining award winning design and sustainable practice in buildings that respect nature, enhance place, and exhibit the craft of construction. He has more than 20 years of project experience with a focus on environmental issues ranging from land preservation advocacy to sustainable urban design.

Mark Jensen lrMark Jensen, AIA As the founder of Jensen Architects, Mark Jensen cultivated his view of the art and science of architecture into an award-winning design practice that celebrates inquisitiveness, craftsmanship, and partnership. These values came naturally to Mark, who grew up among artisans and designers, and deepened through his academic and early experience in the United States and Italy. Mark’s work is noted for bridging culture and construction: His recent notable projects include SFMOMA’s sculpture garden, offices for Goodby Silverstein and Partners and IDEO, graduate studios for CCA, and SHED, a modern grange in Healdsburg.
