AIA East Bay Releases AIA Mobile, a Consolidated News App

App Logo

On behalf of the chapter, I am proud to announce the launch of AIA Mobile, a new app available for both iOS and Android users. AIA Mobile is a consolidated news source that combines articles from AIArchitect (AIA), Relevance (AIACC) and ArchNews (AIA East Bay) in one place: the palm of your hand.

The new app has a clean design and intuitive finger-swipe navigation, allowing users to easily browse headlines in our live feed and quick click to read full articles. Local chapter news and events from AIA East Bay are updated regularly in one convenient interface.

A recent survey of the membership identified that the large volume of AIA email members receive creates a negative user experience.   That’s one thing that makes AIA Mobile so enticing: it gives you instant access to AIA news at local, state and national and makes it possible for members to reduce the amount of AIA email in their in-box.

The app represents the first mobile app from an  AIA chapter that combines content from all three levels of the AIA. Funded by a grant from AIA National, AIA Mobile was developed by AIA East Bay’s Communication Committee and local contractors:

Developer: sleek-geek, inc.
Design: Jennifer Goshay
Project Manager: Devi Dutta-Choudhury, AIA

AIA Mobile is designed for both AIA members and architecture enthusiasts. It is available for free in both the Google Play Store and  iTunes App Store.
