About the Presenter

Brian Cornwell – Openings Studio Consultant
Brian Cornwell is currently an Openings Studio Consultant with leading building industry hardware manufacturer ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions. Brian has worked at the intersection of the Door and Hardware industry for the past 10 years, working his way from estimating to scheduling and project management, and finally into Division 8 specification writing with ASSA ABLOY. Since joining ASSA ABLOY, he has received credentials as an AHC (Architectural Hardware Consultant) from the Door and Hardware Institute (DHI), a LEED Green Associate, a CDT (Certified Document Technologist) from CSI, and a CM–BIM (Certificate of Management–Building Information Modeling) from the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).
