Past President and current Board member of Westcon with 34 years of experience ranging from a workman to president of a general contracting firm specializing in flashings and support work for roofing and waterproofing. He leads investigations of leakage into roofs, walls, windows, doors and decks as well as recommending corrective solutions, preparation of detail drawings and specifications, and performs onsight observations during applications.
John Thomson – Vice President, Salas O’Brien
A national architectural and engineering firm, Mr. Thomson is a licensed Mechanical Engineer in California who has completed over $40 million dollars in design, due diligence, critical needs assessments,and construction management work for educational, institutional, residential, industrial, and public sector clients over the last 20 years.
Rod Tosetti – Owner, Tosetti Electric
A former President of Westcon and current Board member, licensed C10 Electrical Contractor, published code educator with 37 years of hands on experience. Rod has college teaching credentials with UC Berkeley and San Jose State University and provides services as an industry expert for the California Contractors State License Board. He also provides both plaintiff and defense work, expert testimony, cost effective reports and solutions.
David Field, AIA – Principal Architect, Richard Avelar & Associates
Mr. Field is a member of Westcon with a degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley and Master degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado. His expertise is performing construction and litigation support services including field investigations, code compliance review of existing conditions and contract documents, preparation of reconstruction design documents and site observations.
Chuck Peterson – President, Malott & Peterson Roofing Company
Westcon Founding Member, licensed C39 contractor since 1968. Chuck has been providing roofing and industry expert service for over 30 years, handling approximately 190 legal cases per year. He has served as an industry expert for the Contractors State License Board Department of Consumer Affairs for California.
Steve Cadet – CEO of Fidelity Roof Company
A past Project Manager, VP, President and now CEO who has collaborated with numerous roofing & waterproofing consultants, assisted local architectural and general contractors with project design goals relative to insuring overall water integrity results for roofing and waterproofing projects of all types – both commercial and residential.
