With well over a hundred new features, the 2016 release of Vectorworks provides building, landscape and entertainment design professionals with new and improved tools to develop, document, collaborate, share and present their work.  In this meeting we will explore some of the most significant of these, with demonstrations and discussions of how you can employ them to enhance your capabilities and productivity.

Vectorworks will also provide a forum for questions, comments and sharing experiences.

About the Presenters:

Peter Thayer – Architect, OAG Architects Inc., Benicia, CA. Peter has been using Vectorworks/MiniCAD software for over 15 years, providing residential architectural services with his firm in Benicia.

Paul Majka – Principal, Paul Majka Architect Inc., San Francisco, CA. Paul is a seasoned professional in Architecture with well over ten years of experience with Vectorworks, and is currently running an architectural practice in San Francisco.

Jacob Dale – Project Manager, John Lum Architecture, San Francisco, CA. Jacob has over a decade of collective experience in architecture, interiors, construction administration, real estate development, and theatrical arts.

  1. Learn how new site model, slab, roof window and door features work and to use enhanced 2D markers and 3D rendering features to facilitate documentation coordination and communication
  2. See how energy performance modeling is integrated into the software to facilitate better design decisions
