Help us ring the bells of peace this Saturday, June 4!
The Oakland Peace Center is a GORGEOUS building in which AMAZING work is happening, but el Nino has shown us a real challenge: our historic belltower is a historic mess. We’ll need at least $25,000 to get all the way up there and seal the leaks which are currently damaging three of our public spaces, a community kitchen and three of our partners’ office and classroom spaces!
We need your help to preserve this space and make it safe and welcoming for the over 83,000 people the Oakland Peace Center partners serve each year.
Join us for either a tour of the historic building or a reception featuring the amazing catering skills of several of our partner organizations: fabulous food with a heart for social justice. We’ll be featuring the art work of community youth and partying for peace!
Thanks in advance for your support of the Oakland Peace Center’s work for peace and preservation.
