Join us for a tour of University Village, a mix-use project featuring a senior housing development designed by HKIT and a retail center including Sprouts Farmers Market grocery store designed by Lowney Architecture. This tour is co-led by Lowney Architecture, HKIT, Jeff Bond from the City of Albany and Kevin Hufferd from UC Berkeley.

Renovations include two new single-story buildings including a grocery building for Sprouts with a gross floor area of 28,684 sf and a retail building with a gross floor area of 4,700 sf. The grocery building is a cold shell and the retail building is  a warm shell including HVAC. Site improvements include replacement of a section of Monroe St., a new public plaza, parking servicing the retail buildings, creek bank enhancements and a new creek side trail. A new single story multi-tenant retail building with a gross floor area of 11,700 sf, the building is also designed as a warm shell including rooftop HVAC for all tenants.
