Strong project management skills, ability to produce a solid set of construction drawings, very knowledgeable of code issues, able to navigate entitlement processes, demonstrated design skills. We are a small firm that requires a skill set that should include proficiency in all phases of design and architectural production, utilizing the latest technologies. Quick advancement to Project Management is likely for the qualified candidate, and partnership is potentially available.

  • Accredited professional degree in Architecture with history of increasing responsibilities, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with applicable Codes and regulations, including ADA, including interpretive capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CSI Specifications, including writing and editing of Product Specifications.
  • Direct and responsible experience in a broad range of building and construction types.
  • Self-Managing capabilities. Capacity to plan and manage all aspects of architectural document production, including the management of architectural production staff.
  • Knowledge of constructability and cost containment, with emphasis on design-build delivery and fast-track permitting.

Applicants must have no less than 3 years of experience with responsibilities at this level.

The immediate need is for high volume AutoCAD production drawings on a $43 million wood-framed multi-family housing project, but high-visibility projects are already under contract and due to start soon. BIM experience is a plus!
