Group 4 Architecture, Research + Planning, Inc. seeks a full-time intermediate designer with 3 to 7 years of professional experience. Group 4 utilizes a unique team-oriented approach to architecture, interior design and planning projects that integrates architects, planners, users and clients into the design process; this approach produces a diverse portfolio of vital facilities that reflect the unique attributes of their communities. Within the office, we work in a collaborative, studio-driven environment. Our intermediate designers are an integral part of our project teams, regularly participating in client meetings, multidisciplinary consultant charrettes, and community engagement activities throughout the project life cycle. As a medium-sized firm, Group 4 offers intermediate designers the opportunity to work closely with principals and senior architectural staff who are dedicated to mentoring and employee development.

Requirements for this position include a degree from an accredited architecture program and at least three years of experience as a intermediate designer on non-residential projects. Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Ability to generate, develop and critically evaluate architectural concepts throughout all phases of the design process
- 3D/BIM modeling skills in Revit and Sketchup
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite and hand sketching graphic skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work with clients and project consultants
- Working knowledge of building codes
