Junior Architectural designer, 1 to 3 years

Komorous-Towey Architects is an award winning firm with Deep Green, LEED Platinum Certified projects and a Net Zero project in the works. We are looking for a Junior Architectural Designer to join our team and help us with client interface, presentations and production. We offer a friendly, unpretentious, supportive work environment. Our firm is currently working on a mix of public and commercial projects and our portfolio includes a wide range of projects from very large to small, including custom residential.

We look at each project as an opportunity to creatively maximize the project’s sustainability and innovative design. We have completed cutting edge LEED Platinum projects and are currently working on a $50m Net Zero project. Our built work includes the Alameda Cineplex and Parking structure, San Francisco City Hall Improvements Project, headquarters, offices for United Cerebral Palsy of the Golden Gate and Integral Group among others.   • A professional degree from an accredited architecture program
  • AutoCad and REVIT proficiency
  • Familiarity with the CBC and thorough knowledge of accessibility codes a plus
  • Rendering ability with SketchUp
  • Graphic design - Photoshop (InDesign, Illustrator is a plus)
  • LEED AP is preferred
