Description

Ware Associates, Inc., a small architectural/structural design firm in Oakland, seeks an energetic and organized individual for the position of Office Manager. We are looking for a motivated person who is a self-starter, able to work well under deadlines, and is design-minded. Applicant must be able to pay attention to detail, have a high standard of work, be resourceful and responsible, and be good at multi-tasking. Solid knowledge of Accounts Payable/Receivable, MS Windows, MS Office required. Prior experience in an architectural office and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) desirable.

Duties will include project billing, managing contracts, preparation of statement of qualifications (SOQ's), data organization, answering phones, handling mail, and general operational upkeep and improvement. The Office Manager will also be responsible for some marketing & publicity. These duties will include light graphic design, organizing publicity assets, website maintenance, and posting on social media (blog, Facebook & Instagram).
