Description

TLCD Architecture is an established design firm with a fascination for creative possibilities. Our primary goal is to make a positive impact through architecture. We seek a balance between innovative design and the pragmatics of building. Our progressive and sustainable designs are carefully crafted to meet the challenges of construction and needs of the communities we serve.   TLCD’s location in the North Bay affords us the opportunities of a regional community practice with the resources of the greater Bay Area. Sonoma County is a great place to live and work, is accessible to San Francisco, and is our launching pad to projects and clients throughout Northern California.

TLCD Architecture is seeking a talented Project Architect with a strong background in technical architecture and specifications to join our team. Project Architects at TLCD lead projects while working closely with design teams and firm directors. We offer the opportunity to work on a wide variety of project types, which include educational, healthcare, civic, transportation, office, retail, mixed-use, and winery hospitality. Responsibilities include coordination of project team, jurisdictional approvals, budget and schedule, as well as, leadership of design documents and construction documents. Experience with specifications writing and construction administration is preferred. OSHPD and/or DSA experience on institutional projects is a plus.

Our collaborative teams are fun, engaged, and eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities. TLCD places emphasis on professional growth and supports learning through in-house continuing education programs. Individuals with MArch, BArch, or similar professional degrees please apply. Professional licensure is required, LEED accreditation is preferred.  Revit expertise is required and additional software applications are desirable. Health, dental, and vision benefits offered for full-time employment. Wine Wednesday social breaks, in-house “Fit Force,” and half-day Friday work schedule reflect TLCD’s culture.

We would like to learn about your experience and skills. Send resume and work samples to employment@tlcd.com and reference “Project Architect” in the subject line.
