Description

Ware Associates, Inc., an architectural/structural design firm in Oakland, seeks an energetic and organized individual for the position of Project Coordinator, involving part time administrative support. Candidate should have strong design skills and excel in 3-D visualization/rendering with Sketch Up/Rhino. Proven knowledge of AutoCAD for working drawings are a must. Opportunity to work directly under a licensed architect and engineer. Experience with projects from concept through design detailing and final documentation is preferred.

Applicant must be able to pay attention to detail, have a high standard of work, be resourceful and responsible, and be good at prioritizing. Solid knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office required. Some knowledge of Quickbooks, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable is highly desirable. Prior experience in an architectural office and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is preferred.

Duties will include assisting with drafting, administrative support, preparation of statement of qualifications (SOQ's), data organization, answering phones, handling mail, and general operational upkeep and improvement. The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for some marketing & publicity. These duties will include light graphic design, organizing publicity assets, website maintenance, and posting on social media (blog, Facebook & Instagram).
Position is for full time work with flexible hours. Potential start date: November 13, 2017.
