Under the general direction of the Director of Project Management, responsible for the management of major capital projects, including master planning, use programming, design, bidding, construction, commissioning and financial closeout. Act as the University Representative for the project to the campus, public, external approval agencies and all entities under contract to the University. Under minimal supervision, responsible for the largest scale and most complex capital projects with budgets typically in the range of $15 million to over $100 million (individually or in aggregate), involve donor, campus and state funding, have prominent architectural significance within the campus, require Chancellor or Regents approval, employ large multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering teams and require original needs assessment and use programming. Direct the work of lower level project managers and other professional staff and, for very large or complex integrated projects, collaborate with other project managers in teams.
