Hunt Hale Jones has a position available in our San Francisco office for an exceptional individual who is well organized, hard-working, professional and mature. The successful candidate must have an accredited degree in Architecture. Strong design skills and the ability to design based on verbal direction are very important. The intermediate designer/drafter will be expected to develop projects from design through construction documents phases. We will expect the individual to be strongly motivated and self-directed, with a high level of problem solving skills. The ability to research codes, building products and systems, and solve design problems is essential.  AutoCAD and Revit proficiency, 3-dimensional computer modeling experience, and solid graphic design skills are required for this position.

We are currently working on various projects ranging from custom homes, neighborhood development and planning, multi-family, affordable and commercial and residential remodeling.

A qualified candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up and Photoshop

Knowledge of Type V construction and ability to prepare construction drawings

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take directions and offer elegant concepts for further review by the Design Principal.
  • Ability to complete design tasks in a timely constructive manner.
  • Great team player.
