7/27/10 Architectural Project Manager. 10+ Years of Experience International Parking Design, an employee owned company and a leader in the design of award winning parking facilities, seeks a project manager with ten or more years of project management experience to join us at our Alameda office. The position requires an individual with the ability to manage multiple challenging projects, some with mixed-use occupancies. Parking structure design experience a plus. The successful individual should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methodologies, and project management with emphasis on coordination and management of consultants, schedules and budgets.
A degree in architecture or related field is required.
Experience with Type 1 & 2 construction and local, state and federal building codes is also required.
A California Architect license is desirable.

Our candidate must be available for the next 6-8 months and be available during standard Pacific time zone working hours. Initially this job will require 20-40 hours of work per week.
The assignment will involve drawings for retail store layouts. Our freelance candidate will need to build a store shell based on a detailed floor plan and photographic reference, and then populate it with a pre-approved set of merchandised fixtures, closely following an approved layout. A keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills are mandatory.
Our freelance candidate must have access to Cinema 4D, versions 11 and 11.5, along with a recent version of Vectorworks and CS4. Retail merchandising store layout and/or an architectural background a major plus.
