Group 4 Architecture, Research + Planning, Inc. seeks a full-time Assistant Planner. Group 4’s collaborative, team-oriented approach integrates planners, architects, clients, and users into the planning and design process; the result is a diverse portfolio of vital facilities that reflect and celebrate their communities. As a medium-sized firm, Group 4 offers the opportunity to work closely with principals and senior staff who are dedicated to mentoring and employee development. Qualifications
A background in urban planning, architecture, public policy, or related area of study is desirable. Successful candidates will demonstrate:
 Creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to gather, analyze, and apply relevant data and information in practical situations
 Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to weave information into a compelling story
 Ability to present concepts and information directly to, and engage with, clients and constituent groups
 Ability to attend to details within the context of overall client and project goals
 Collaborative outlook and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
 Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously.
