Project Coordinator for Architectural Hardware

We are looking for a Project Coordinator, to work directly with the Owner, to manage individual job accounts/projects from our showroom in the design district of San Francisco. You will conduct sales meetings by appointment with prospective clients, host and facilitate group meetings with architects, designers, builders and home owners, create hardware schedules, sales quotes, and track projects from start to finish. You will have the full support of your fellow coordinators and the operations and shipping team.

About the Job Opportunity:

  • Assemble preliminary estimates and hardware schedules
  • Collaborate with in-house team and follow policies and procedures to document workflow
  • Submit complete and accurate purchase orders for processing
  • Collect deposits and final payments from clients in timely fashion
  • Coordinate with operations to schedule deliveries
  • Attend pre-construction meetings and review contract documents
  • Establish and ensure adherence to job schedules and priorities
  • Process and submit all invoices and lien waivers
  • Consult at job site for initial take-offs and installation supervision as needed


We are looking for a person who:

  • Is able to communicate with all clients and co-workers in a polite and respectful manner
  • Is detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Enjoys working independently and collaboratively in a professional environment
  • Has a mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
  • Is adept at working with Microsoft Word/Excel/QuickBooks
  • Can manage your time, multiple projects and deadlines
  • Has experience reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications
  • Demonstrates integrity and ability to maintain customer confidentiality
  • Is self-motivated with positive work ethic
  • Has a college degree or equivalent trade
  • Prior experience in architectural hardware sales or installation, hardware design and/or manufacturing is not required
