What’s New for 2019 Energy Code – Residential

DATE: Thursday, October 3

TIME: 12PM – 1:30PM

LOCATION: 1405 Clay St. Oakland, CA

Join us as the Small Firms Forums discuss the high speed train called “California Energy Goals” and how it is changing the requirements, building practices, and installed systems for single family and low-rise multifamily buildings. The next 2019 Energy Code cycle has some big changes in store for residential buildings as we enter our “Zero Net Energy” (or as close as we were able to get to ZNE cost effectively) code year for residential (2030 is the next code ZNE and introducing zero carbon goals for commercial and high-rise multifamily buildings). Are you prepared to design, and get your design team, to meet these aggressive goals California is putting into place starting next year?

Small Firms Forums meets every first Thursday of the month from 12:00 – 1:30PM. Come by and join the conversation!
