AIA East Bay is now accepting applications for the annual Board of Directors election for the
Board members serve a two-year term with staggered terms to bring fresh voices to the Board every year. There are 7 Director positions open for this election.
In addition, we elect a Student Director who can directly represent and engage with the student community, which will serve a 1-year term. Only student members can vote for the Student Director position.
A description of the Director’s role can be found here. All persons interested in serving on the board must submit an application of nomination no later than December 1, 2021:
Applicants must be current AIA East Bay members.
After the application period, a slate of candidates will be created, and voting will be open from Dec. 2 to Dec. 15 at 5:00 PM PST. All AIA East Bay members are eligible to vote via the following options:
- Online –Members in good standing receive an email with a unique ID for casting their ballots online.
- Email – just send the names of your top 7 choices from the slate of candidates along with your AIA Member number to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line AIAEB Election
The election results will be announced Dec. 15, 2021 during our Member Appreciation Party, and via our website.
