A Day Sailing the Bay with Our Design Tours
This past Saturday, our Design Tours committee, in collaboration with Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA), hosted a private ferry tour of three stunning ferry terminals around the Bay Area. We toured the Alameda Seaplane Lagoon Ferry Terminal, The Richmond Ferry Terminal, and the Treasure Island Ferry Terminal while enjoying truly perfect weather, making this a perfect event!
Mike Wilson, our Executive Director, was able to attend the tour, and said that “It was great to compare and contrast the various designs and unique location requirements for each terminal as well as enjoy a beautiful day on the bay”.
A special thank you to Ken Lin and WETA for organizing this event, as well as Kent Royle from Marcy Wong Donn Logan Architects for being a wonderful tour guide for two of the terminal stops.
