63rd Street WalkAbout & Place It Workshop

On Saturday, December 11, 1:00 – 3:30 PM, John Kamp and James Rojas will host a sensory based walk and hands-on Place It workshop. 63rd Street WalkAbout will investigate how our senses can determine the redesign of holistic streets by using our hands and objects.

 

There will be two simultaneous walks. Each walk will begin at one end of 63rd street: one at College and 63rd in Oakland and the other at Overland and 63rd in Emeryville.  We will walk and meet in the middle at machinaloci project space (1721 63rd St) off Adeline. Here we will participate in a Place It workshop where we can redesign 63rd street. Rides back to the site will be provided.
