AIA East Bay Community Forum – How Our AIA Community is Dealing with the Pandemic
AIA Members are encouraged to take a short COVID-19 Survey in advance of this event to ensure we hear from each of you and can share the results both with our East Bay community as well as our State and National chapter leadership. The survey results will be shown prior to the forum.
RSVP for the Community Forum is required. A link to the forum will be shared to registered attendees 48 hours prior to the online event.
As the architectural profession responds to the novel coronavirus, we all have questions. While there is a tremendous amount of uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, what we know for certain is there will be impacts on your business, your clients, your employees and your projects.
Membership in the AIA binds the architectural community together and connecting with your colleagues during these troubling times can help. Crowd sourcing best practices and sharing information can help you dealing with this disruption to project delivery. We want to hear from you – your concerns, your challenges and your ideas about what AIA can do for you.
You are invited to a conversation to share stories and learn from each other about steps being taken to weather this storm. While none of us have all the answers, or answers that are appropriate everywhere, collectively we can share our concerns, responses and ideas. This intel will help frame a statewide panel discussion (via webinar) later this month.
If you are unable to join, please share your thoughts, procedures, ideas and questions to email@example.com so we can all learn. We hope you will join us to share your experience.

“To our membership, who are dealing with mounting uncertainty and working from home: None of us have definitive answers right now, but we are culling the resources we have and hope to help. It’s a fast moving crisis and the best we can do is support each other and our membership with access and knowledge. We hope you will join us at the town hall where we can discuss the biggest concerns of membership and move forward together.”
