Bay Area in the Round
Use your hands to help build a post COVID Bay Area model based on our collective memories, dreams and aspirations!
Join James Rojas of PlaceIt! and Carol Mancke at machinaloci space for a hands on model building workshop. Using a round conceptual map of the Bay Area we will build San Francisco on one side and the East Bay on the other – two halves visually connected by SF’s Market Street and Oakland’s Broadway.
We will provide streets, buildings and landscape elements, as well as transit, and urban design components for you to use to contribute to a creative conversation about the ideal post – COVID Bay Area community we would like to build together!
