DVC Architecture Lecture Series: Bas ten Brinke
About Your Speaker
Bas ten Brinke, 70F Architecture
Bas ten Brinke (1972) studied Architecture and Urbanism at Eindhoven University of
Technology in The Netherlands. At the age of 27 he founded 70F architecture. 70F’s work has since then been published and awarded worldwide. The recognizable signature is often referred to by architectural critics as ‘spartan hyper-modernism’.
Now, 23 years later, Ten Brinke’s passion for modern architecture is still at the forefront of his work. He has gathered a team of passionate architects around him, but is still closely involved in every 70F project. Meanwhile, 70F’s work has matured into an architecture that is driven by its context.
He inspires fellow architects as a speaker at international events and is a visiting professor at several universities in Europe.
