For the 2020 Awards ceremony several new nomination areas have been introduced, including one for Built Environment! This category will recognize East Bay companies and organizations that use creative and innovative approaches, technologies and strategies to shape the built environment in architecture, planning, development, construction or any other area that affects the built spaces in which we live and work. Nominations close Friday, October 25.
East Bay EDA is currently seeking judges for the Built Environment category. The judging committees are composed of industry leaders, experts and influencers in their respective fields. If you are interested in participating, please fill out this online judging form. The deadline to respond is Friday, October 11, 2019.
To be considered as a judge, you must:
– Attend in-person to judge on Friday, December 6, 2019 (9:00 am -12:00 pm) at the Wendel Rosen Conference Room at 1111 Broadway (19th Floor) in Oakland.
– Agree to work as a team in your respective judging committee, which will be responsible for selecting the top finalist and awardee.
– Not be employed or have financial investments in any 2020 nominated companies or organizations.
– Sign a confidentiality agreement in which you agree that all information regarding the judging and the selection of finalists and awardees remain confidential.
Awardees will be revealed at the awards ceremony on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Fox Theater in Oakland. As in years past, the East Bay EDA will host all judges as their guests at the awards ceremony. To learn more information about the awards ceremony, please click here.
