The CA Energy Code drives many design decisions and code compliance is one of the architect’s responsibilities. We will look at key highlights of the new California Energy Code taking effect for permits submitted starting 1/1/23, specifically for small projects such as: home remodels, additions, Accessory Dwelling Units, new single-family homes, and small commercial spaces.
