City of Oakland Releases New Request for Proposals

Description: City of Oakland is seeking qualified consultants with demonstrated expertise in 1) performing technical reviews of Planning entitlement applications including, but not limited to design review, variance, tentative maps, and conditional use permits; and 2) administration and review of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Bidders are invited to submit proposals to provide services in one or both areas. The Bidders for entitlement review should demonstrate a capacity to provide staff who can familiarize themselves with and apply the Oakland Municipal Code under the guidance of City Staff.  

Budget: The contract amount (including reimbursements) shall be a not to exceed amount, to be established based upon a mutually agreeable Scope of Services and fee schedule. The Plan Review fees charged by Contractor shall not exceed 75% of the applicable City Planning Fees. A consultant should submit their hourly rate in their proposal. Hourly rates should be proposed for each of the proposed positions and should include all overhead costs.
