City of Oakland – RFP Design Services for Fire Station #29 and Fire Station #4

The City of Oakland is soliciting for qualified firms and proposals to provide full design & engineering services for (1) a new Fire Station #29 of approximately 11,000 s.f. with the master planning of a Training, Resiliency, Education, and Community Complex (TREC COM), and (2) a new Fire Station #4 of approximately 11,000 s.f. with associated site feasibility assessment and support during site identification phase. The architect-led consultant team shall include, but is limited to: structural engineer, mechanical engineer, civil engineer, electrical engineer, surveyor, landscape architect, cost estimator, construction manager, commissioning agent, geotechnical engineer, Bay Friendly rater and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) professional to achieve the City’s goals and design intent. The lead consultant must have proven extensive expertise in fire station and essential service facilities design. The City will award the project to firms based on best qualified experience and resource availability.
