International Parking Design, Inc. (IPD) is seeking a highly talented Project Manager to join us at our Oakland, CA office. IPD is a specialty architectural firm with over 50 years of experience; focusing exclusively on the design of parking structures. Responsibilities:

Ideal candidates will have the ability to oversee and manage teams of design professionals, both in-house and outside consultants.
Develop and implement operations and strategies to improve design delivery and provide added value for our clients.
Work with owners, developing solutions that align with their needs and business goals.
Direct teams in the preparation of design and construction documents and specifications for structured parking facilities.
Manage code analysis, coordinate with municipal agencies and facilitate the permitting process.
Provide Pre-Construction coordination and Construction Administration oversight.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field required. Professional licensure desired but not mandatory.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with five (5) years of project management experience, including administrating multiple concurrent projects.
Experience in the design of structured parking facilities is desired, but not mandatory.
Ability to monitor and manage project budgets/schedules.
Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, Smartsheet and other project management software.
Knowledge of building codes and permitting processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills and be able to work with aggressive schedules in a collaborative environment.
Broad working knowledge of the various technical disciplines and their interrelationship to the design and construction process.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, detailed oriented and well organized.
