$8,176 for each 4-unit course, and $4,088 for each 2-unit course.
How do I apply?
Email Seth Wachtel slwachtel@usfca.edu and attach a Resume/CV (including relevant teaching experience)
What are the qualifications?
Professional (terminal) degree in Architecture or related profession. USF values excellent teaching so teaching experience is a plus, but not required. This can include teaching assistantship (TA/GSI) during graduate school, adjunct teaching at other architecture programs, teaching within the firm, or other venues.
Can I see a job description?
Each course has a syllabus that can be used as is or adapted. Many courses have multiple sections, so faculty members teaching the same course usually get together to coordinate assignments and reviews.
Studio courses are limited to 12 students per instructor, an amazing ratio.
Is there any training?
You will be mentored by fellow faculty and the Architecture program director. There are also support services from the Dean’s office.
Is this live or online or both?
Courses are in-person. This past academic year, faculty and students were required to wear masks and be vaccinated.
What about parking on Campus?
Most faculty take BART/Muni or Transbay bus/Muni. The majority of parking in the surrounding neighborhoods is limited to 2 hours before needing to move the car.
