Lafayette Design Review Commission (DRC) – Seats Open

Looking for a chance to give back and get involved in local government? We’re looking for you. Lafayette’s Design Review Commission (DRC) advises the Planning Commission and City Council on  matters relating to aesthetics and the physical appearance of the City of Lafayette. DRC currently has  two vacancies and is looking for new members with an eye for design. Lafayette residency is desired but  not required.

DRC’s current work plan includes completing the Downtown Specific Plan and Plaza Overlay, phase two  of Objective Design Standards, reviewing applications for design review and hillside development, and  working with the Planning Commission on land use, subdivision, and variance applications. For more  information and examples of past reviews visit www.lovelafayette.org/drc. DRC meets in person on the  2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center. Read more  about DRC Responsibilities and Lafayette Conflict of Interest
