Old Friends and New Faces at Last Week’s YAF & EP Happy Hour & Trivia Night

Last week, our very own Young Architects Forum & Emerging Professionals committee hosted a joyous in-person reunion: happy hour and trivia! It was incredible to reconnect and catch up (and meet some new faces!) over good drinks and a little friendly competition.

Jaime Matheron (the committee’s Co-Chair described the night best: “The vibe was lively and fun, and everyone was excited to socialize and meet new people. After such a long time without in-person events, all the young professionals (from recent graduates up to licensed architects) brought an enthusiastic energy that was fun to be part of. I look forward to future event opportunities where people can socialize and make connections with other professionals in the East Bay!”

Congratulations again to our trivia winners, and we look forward to hosting something similar soon, so keep an eye out for it!

Focusing on building a community among licensure candidates, architecture students, and young design professionals, our Young Architects Forum & Emerging Professionals group addresses the professional needs and concerns of Bay Area Associate members. The committee works with local emerging professionals organizations to maximize the value of the AIA for associates and interns. They also organize events and programs of interest to unlicensed professionals and students and the ARE Review Seminars.
