UIA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Survey

This questionnaire/survey aims to gather information on different equity, diversity, and inclusion trends and to identify the current situation regarding these issues in architecture within UIA Member Sections. There are many forms of discrimination that our colleagues are subject to in architectural practices worldwide. These include but are not limited to gender, age, race and ethnicity, nationality, disability, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, religion or belief, and sexual orientation.

The results collected through this survey will be analyzed so UIA can outline the obstacles preventing more diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices that foster and advocate for the future success of the architecture profession. The UIA, in accordance with the UIA Declaration on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Architecture, believes that overcoming these obstacles and establishing a UIA DEI Policy will be beneficial to achieve the goal of a more diverse and inclusive profession and a working environment free of discrimination in any form.

The information gathered with this questionnaire will remain anonymous and will only be used to develop the DEI policy of UIA. Your responses will be kept private and secure. This survey does NOT include questions that may disclose your identity.

Estimated completion time: 15 minutes
