Virtual 2020 CIRCUS

The College of Environmental Design CIRCUS – now in its 10th year – is an annual showcase of outstanding student work. Circus is an opportunity for alumni, friends, and supporters of CED to come to Wurster Hall and experience the exemplary projects that our graduating students of Architecture, Landscape Architecture + Environmental Design, and City + Regional Planning produced during the fall semester. Although the COVID19 pandemic precludes “live” events, CED chose not to cancel Circus this year, but to present it in digital format, so that the students’ work can still be experienced.

Graduate and undergraduate students from studios chosen by Acting Dean Renee Y. Chow were nominated by their professors to exhibit their work and receive feedback. We have also included students from Sustainable Urban Design and Global Urban Humanities, as well as extra-studio projects under the category “Other Works”. We hope you enjoy the students’ achievements, and if you would like to contact a particular student for a job opportunity, internship, or to offer feedback, please email Victoria Jaschob at circus@berkeley.edu, and your message will be forwarded. Your support of our students is greatly appreciated, now, more than ever.

While we will be sharing Virtual Circus with the wider CED community next week, we wanted you to be able to enjoy this “sneak peek” – consider if a soft launch. You may view the file here. (Please note, the file is large, so it may take a few minutes to load.)

Until we may meet again in person, please enjoy (Virtual) Circus 2020!
