Any Chapter of the AIA can become a PrepARE Affiliate.

Chapter affiliates promote the PrepARE program to their members (Associates who want to get licensed) via their normal member communications (email, newsletters, social media, word of mouth, etc)

Our affiliate program allows AIA Chapters to promote our products to their members. In return, they earn a commission for each new sale generated.

How It Works

When a user first visits the PrepARE site through your unique affiliate link, a cookie is placed in their browser, lasting for 30 days. If they create an account on the PrepARE site within this period, they are associated with your Chapter and you will receive 15% of every purchase they make.

Affiliates help us reach more people by promoting our courses. In return, they earn a commission on any sales they help make. This article explains how PrepARE works with Affiliates.

As an Affiliate, you can earn money by promoting our products and bringing new students to our site. Typically this is done via the same channels that you use to talk to your Members and Chapter Community using Email blasts, Newsletters, your Website, and Social Media.

            Think of this as an easy ARE Test Preparation program you can offer your members today or as a great way to augment your existing program.

Using our media assets or yours simply insert your Affiliate Link wherever appropriate to direct people to our site.   

PrepARE uses special Affiliate Links to track which students you refer. These links include your unique code and can lead to specific courses, communities, or our homepage. When new visitors click one of your links, their browser saves a cookie with your code for 30 days. If they sign up anytime in that month, you’ll get credit for the referral. After that, any products they buy will earn you a commission.

Getting Set Up as an Affiliate

Affiliates are set up as regular users of the site, and so have their own login and password. If you are new to the site, we will create an account for you and will provide you with your login details.

Your account is mostly the same as a student account, but it does include an additional menu with specific information related to your role as an Affiliate.

1. 1. Log in with the email and password provided to you by us.
   2. Open your Profile menu by clicking on your name or profile image at the top right of the page
   3. Click on Affiliate to bring up your affiliate menu
   4. Use the options on the left side of the screen to navigate through the different sections

General Affiliate Information
Details of your commission rate can be found here.

Your Affiliate Links
This is where you can find the unique product URLs that you will share with your audience. There is also a general Homepage Link, in case you want to direct potential students to the homepage rather than a specific course.

Financial Reports
Here you can see your commission totals, a breakdown of your commissions, your payouts, and tracking on the number of visitors through your affiliate links.

Settings
This section displays your Affiliate Code and Commission rate, as well as your PayPal-linked email.

Getting Paid

Basically we pay you 15% of whatever you sell. Payments to affiliates are made every month when payouts are over $100, otherwise, payments to affiliates will be made quarterly. Affiliate payments will be made via EFT via Quickbooks. Affiliates will need to provide their bank name, checking account number, and bank routing number. You can view and manage all of your affiliate activity on our site in real time.
