Call for Applications: Board of Directors for 2027-2029

AIA East Bay is now accepting applications for the annual Board of Directors election for the 2027-2029 term.

Board members serve a two-year term with staggered terms to bring fresh voices to the Board every year. There are 3 Director positions open for this election. 

A description of the Director’s role can be found here. All persons interested in serving on the board must apply for nomination no later than 11:59pm PT, November 2, 2026: 

Applicants must be current AIA East Bay members.

After the application period, a slate of candidates will be created, and voting will be open from Nov. 3 to Dec. 3 at 6:00 PM PST. All AIA East Bay members are eligible to vote via the following options:

  1. Online – Members receive an email with a unique ID for casting their ballots online.
  2. Email – just send the names of your top 3 choices from the slate of candidates to info@aiaeb.org with the subject line AIA East Bay Election 2026.

The election results will be announced on Dec. 3 during our Member Appreciation Party, and via our website.
