Seeking Abstracts from Waterproofing Experts
AIA East Bay is hosting an all-day Waterproofing Symposium on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in Berkeley, CA, and we’re looking for six dynamic speakers to present engaging, one-hour sessions. If you have expertise in waterproofing and a story to tell, we want to hear from you!
What We’re Looking For:
Each presentation must feature at least one case study of a waterproofing disaster, offering insights and lessons learned. Preference will be given to AIA East Bay members, but all qualified experts are encouraged to apply.

ABSTRACT FORM:
Your abstract submission must be one page (PDF format only) and include the following:
- Presentation Title – Clearly state the focus of your talk.
- Speaker Information – Include your name, title, and company.
- Speaker Bio – A brief (150-word max) professional biography highlighting your expertise in waterproofing.
- Summary of Topic – A concise description (250 words max) outlining the key themes of your presentation, emphasizing the case study of a waterproofing disaster and lessons learned.
- Four Learning Objectives – Clearly define four takeaways that attendees will gain from your session. Each should be a measurable learning outcome aligned with AIA continuing education requirements.
