Calling All Female Architects: Volunteer Opportunity to Inspire Young Girls in STEAM!

We are excited to share an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young girls in our community through our new architectural education program, Architecture by the Book. This fall, we are partnering with Scientific Adventures for Girls, which offers free after-school STEAM programs to 800 girls in schools across Oakland, Emeryville, Richmond, and Berkeley.

A key part of Architecture by the Book is bringing in role model architects to lead lessons, and for this initiative, we are seeking passionate female architects to volunteer. We need 20 volunteers to teach during the week our lessons are featured (specific dates and times will be provided soon).
