Emerging Professional Membership
Annual Fee: $100
Eligibility: Up to 3 years at this membership level. Must live and/or work in the East Bay region (Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, or Solano counties). Licensed architects are not eligible for this membership tier. 

AIA East Bay’s new Emerging Professional membership is designed to bridge the gap between free student membership and full AIA membership, helping to support early-career professionals as they advance in the architecture field. For just $100 a year, Emerging Professional members receive all the same local chapter benefits as our Associate and Architect members, including access to AIA East Bay’s robust network, resources, and exclusive local events. Members can connect with industry leaders, access career-building opportunities, and join committees focused on shaping the future of architecture in our community. 

Please note: This local chapter membership level does not include an AIA number or discounts offered to State / National AIA members, such as those for national conferences, AIA publications, or State / National AIA continuing education programs. However, Emerging Professional members benefit from all local perks (including PrepARE) and can enjoy this membership level for up to three years as they transition to full AIA membership.
