- Identified by CAB as a candidate for licensure
- Successfully passed at least one division of the Architect Registration Examination (ARE)
- Working under the supervision of a licensed architect
Usage Rules
- The title may be used for four years, with the option to renew for one additional four-year period if the candidate passes at least one additional exam during the first term.
- The title cannot be used to independently offer architectural services.
- Candidates must identify their supervising architect with CAB.
- Misuse of the title is subject to disciplinary action.
