Join us for a beautiful trip through Napa Valley as we tour a vast array of homes that remind us “home” has no single definition.

Docents receive a free ticket for working a 3 hour shift on the day of the event and must attend a 1 hour training session beforehand.

Featured Homes

Oak Knoll

Architecture Firm: Swatt | Miers Architects

The owners wanted a home that would respect and preserve the beautiful heritage oak trees that dotted the knoll, open up to the beautiful sunsets over Silverado Trail to the west, and have generous family outdoor living and entertaining areas oriented to the east side of the property – the quiet side with endless views of vineyards and rolling hills.

River Haus

Architecture Firm: Linda Taalman and Piechota Architecture

“River Haus” communicates Gordon Huether’s style and exploration of the ways to express the beauty he sees. Using the seductive properties of richly saturated color, natural light, diverse textures, found materials, and quirky, sometimes unsettling imagery, “River House” offers visitors a unique experience.

Hydeaway House

Architecture Firm: S^A | Schwartz and Architecture

This project embraces the notion of an economy of means, but argues that within this economy, there is still great potential to customize the relationship of a home to its site. In fact, it is this ability that is one of the prime determents of sustainable choices for building orientation, thermal heat gain and loss, and passive cooling strategies to name a few.

Village Oliva

Architecture Firm: Studio Bergtraun

Project Manager:  Jessica Wilson

The overall concept of the home was to create a “village” for family and friends to come together and share in the beauty and enjoyment of the natural surroundings. Much attention was paid to setting each building pad into the landscape to help nestle and anchor each form into the terrain.
