Shah Kawasaki Architect is an award-winning 12-person firm located in Old-Town Oakland. We design welcoming, contemporary, sustainable and cutting edge facilities for our Bay Area communities. Our current projects include a floating fire station in the San Francisco Bay, a new recreation center for the City of Oakland, a café for a national lab, several projects at UC Berkeley and a 55,000 sf new workplace for a local school district. Our projects have received numerous AIA design awards and LEED Certifications.
While our projects vary in size and type, a typical project is $10-20 million and is staffed by a Project Architect with assistance from a junior level staff member. A senior associate mentors the team as the subject matter expert. Project Architects work directly with a principal from design through construction.

This is a full-time position.
