DVC Student Review Volunteer Opportunity
DVC is looking for a final review panel built of local architects and design professionals!
About the Course: This is a second year design studio at DVC and this is our final pin up of The Castle Rock Integrative Health Center. Many of the 17 students are preparing to transfer to a four or five year university in Architecture; they are hardworking, dedicated and from diverse backgrounds. This project is the first time for many of them to apply architectural design thinking skills and technologies to a hypothetical site and program.
They will each present their work followed by a 8-10 minute discussion amongst the panel. More site and project background will be shared with the panel prior to the review.
The review is on Thursday, December 7th, from 2:30-6:40pm broken into two halves, 2:30-4:30 and 4:40-6:40. They can attend one half or the entire thing. It will take place in person on DVC’s campus (address: 321 Golf Club Rd, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523).
