UC Industry Days – Northern California Region

In connection with our “Small Business, Big Outcomes” initiative and in order to encourage and support Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) and Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises (DVBE) The University of California will be hosting an Industry days event on October 5, 2023 at ASUC Student Union: Martin Luther King Jr. Building, Pauley West.

This expo-style event will give SBEs and DVBEs a chance to meet directly with campus representatives and discuss upcoming projects as well as SBE/DVBE geared programs.

We will also have several larger A&E firms and General Contractors that will discuss the processes for hiring SBE/DVBE Subcontractors so this will be a great chance to network with them.

 

Campuses participating in this regional program are:

• UC Berkeley

• UC San Francisco

• UC Davis

• UC Santa Cruz

• UC Merced

• Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory

• Agriculture and Natural Resources

 

Agenda Items we will cover include:

• UC Sheltered Bidding and Sheltered Applicant Pool

• SBE/DVBE Certification

• “Small Business, Big Outcomes” program goals

A light continental breakfast and beverages will be served.

This event is limited to 300 people in attendance.
