Kurt Lavenson
Jerri Holan

Kurt Lavenson is an architect licensed in California, New York and Colorado. His projects consist of homes and remodels that respond to the essence of their place and their owners. His work is a balance of editing and creation, seeking the deeper transformations that go beyond style. Kurt is also experienced in all phases of construction, having spent the first 15 years of his career as a design-build general contractor. Prior to that, he received his degree in architecture and the Eisner prize for photography, while at UC Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design, where he is now an occasional guest lecturer. Since 1985, Kurt has been acknowledged by peers and the press for award-winning design work and insightful writing.Kurt Lavenson is an architect licensed in California, New York and Colorado. Jerri Holan, AIA established her architectural firm in 1992.  The firm is unique in that it encompasses a wide range of specialties for both public and private clients.  Her projects include historic planning and rehabilitations, custom residential design and remodeling, religious and theater spaces, and small commercial projects. Jerri has an advanced degree from the University of California, Berkeley, is a Fulbright research scholar and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.  She is professionally qualified as a Preservation Architect per The Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and Guidelines for Historic Preservation and is a certified Historical Resource Consultant with the California Office of Historic Preservation. Jerri has received awards from the AIA, the National Trust, the California Preservation Foundation, and many local historical organizations.
